Opportunities From: Aloha Harvest

We are looking for one volunteer to assist with pickups at the Town McDonald's on Tuesdays!

6 am- 4 pm - McDonald's Keeaumoku – 910 Ke'eaumoku Street Honolulu, HI 96814 (#808-973-2361). Go to the back door on the side of the building facing the parking lot and ring the bell to the left of the door. Someone will come to the door. You may need to give them a minute to get there, ring twice if needed. Tell them you are a volunteer picking up the donations for Aloha Harvest. 

6 am - 4 pm - McDonald's Beretania – 1055 South Beretania Street Honolulu, HI 96814 (#808-798-5075). Be sure to call this location before heading over to ensure they have a donation. Go up to the front counter expediter or cashier and let them know you're with Aloha Harvest and there to pickup their donations.

Wear your blue Aloha Harvest volunteer shirt.  If you don't have one yet, please reach out to Tsuyuno at Tsuyuno@alohaharvest.org or 808-208-3503 to arrange to pickup one up from the office.

Food can be delivered to:

1. MOKA - Makana O ke Akua, Inc. McCully/Fern St.  765 McCully St.  POC is Harold #808-450-1327.  If you pull into the driveway, you'll see some tables on the left side where you can leave the food if Harold doesn't answer.

2. Gregory House at 1096 Young St. Apt. 1 Hon., HI 96814.  Delivery # is 808-758-4756

Please report 2 separate poundage amounts for Keeaumoku and Beretania restaurants + which agency the food was donated to.

We need 1 volunteer on Saturdays at between 2:00-3:00pm to pick up excess food from Babe's Bakery in Kaimuki.

Pickup Location: Babe's Bakery located at 3036 Waialae Ave. Suite B4 (in the back of the parking lot)

Drop off location: First United Methodist Church Honolulu, 1020 S Beretania St. Honolulu, HI 96814  First UMC Phone Numbers: 808-229-6425 (Josh, 2pm-8pm)

If no one is available to receive the donation, you can leave it outside the Komuro Hall brown double doors next to the Preschool office. 

What type of car is needed: Any size car will work. The volume will just be between 5-30lbs. of food.

What to bring: The food will be individually wrapped.

6 am - 4 pm - McDonald's Kalakaua – 2476 Kalakaua Avenue Honolulu, HI 96815 (#808-971-1766).  There is a loading zone on the side of the restaurant on Lili`uokalani Ave.

Wear your blue Aloha Harvest volunteer shirt.  If you don't have one yet, please reach out to Tsuyuno at Tsuyuno@alohaharvest.org or 808-208-3503 to arrange to pickup one up from the office.

Go up to the front counter expediter or cashier and let them know you're with Aloha Harvest and there to pickup their donations.

6 am - 4 pm - McDonald's Waiakamilo – 1414 Dillingham Blvd. Honolulu, HI 96817 (#808-832-0735).  Park in the Waiakamilo shopping center parking lot near the McDonald's.

Call each McDonald's before going in to confirm if they need a pickup.  They might not answer.

We need 1 volunteer on Wednesdays between 11am-3pm (can be completed any time within that range) to pick up excess food from Boston's Pizza in Hawai'i Kai.

Pickup Location: Boston's Pizza located at 515 Pepeekeo St

We advise calling Boston's ahead of time to ask if they have a food donation that day. Their phone number is (808) 394-8001.

Drop off location: Diamond Head Clubhouse, 3627 Kilauea Ave #410, Honolulu, HI 96816. The building is called "Diamond Head Health Center."

POC for delivery is Paul. When you pull into the parking garage, give him a call at (808) 551-3006 and he will send someone down. Or if the delivery is small enough to carry, you can tell the security guard you have a donation for the clubhouse and take the elevator up to the 4th floor.
