During Empty Bowl 2025, Aloha Harvest will be distributing HDRs, "Humanitarian Daily Rations." We are seeking 5 volunteers who can attend the event at Hawai'i Convention Center from 4-9pm and take turns managing our HDR station and giving out HDRs to event attendees. We will make sure you also get comp tickets so that you can take turns and enjoy the event as well.

FEMA excess Humanitarian Daily Rations (HDRs) for distribution into community in preparation for the potential impacts of Hurricane Kiko and other possible natural disasters. The HDRs are intended to help support general household preparedness. Each pallet contains 48 cases of HDRs (each case contains 10 individual HDR packages). The HDRs must be taken by the pallet.
Each meal pack is designed to provide a single person with a full day's supply of food; it will contain two vegetarian entrees and other various components such as crackers, peanut butter and jelly, etc., and contains between 2,000 and 2,200 calories.
