Angel Network Charities is one Aloha Harvest's wonderful recipient agencies. They need 5 volunteers every 1st & 3rd Thursday of the month to help support their fresh produce distributions. The food distros will serve families that have been impacted by COVID-19 economic downturns. You must be vaccinated to volunteer with Angel Network and will be required to show proof.
The Volunteer Task:
You'll help set up the distribution, pack boxes of food, load food into clients cars, and clean up once the distribution is over. Volunteers should also be prepared to follow instructions from the on-site organizer (Amy & Jennifer) and help however else is needed.
Parking:
Parking is limited on site, if you are unable to find parking, you can park in the neighborhood across from our location, and walk over.
Requirements:
***Angle Network Charities runs a background check on all the volunteers, so please bring your ID to the event.
***You are required to wear closed toed shoes
***Due to the high numbers of Covid cases, Aloha Harvest requires all volunteers helping at in person events to be vaccinated & upload photo proof before volunteering. Please practice social distancing as much as possible at this event, and wear a face mask + your Aloha Harvest T-shirt and lanyard.
***If you traveled to/ from the mainland in the last 10 days, you can not volunteer at ANC's distro
How to sign up for a Thursday shift:
The easiest way of signing up for shifts is to scroll down and click "Respond Individually" for each shift you want to take, rather than clicking the larger "Respond" button and checking shifts off. This is because, with the "Respond Individually" option, you can see how many other people have already signed up for that shift

Anyone who doesn't already have an Aloha Harvest T-shirt/lanyard will get one at or prior to the event. Please practice social distancing as much as possible at this event, and wear a face mask + your Aloha Harvest T-shirt and lanyard.
