D. Otani Produce has yet again generously donated 40 pallets of food to Aloha Harvest so we can help redistribute it to communities in need all over Oʻahu.
We are looking for 60 volunteers to assist us with assembling veggie boxes to distribute to the community, 30 volunteers per shift.
We'll provide lunch from Raising Cane's and drinks. We welcome the whole family! We have hosted many previous volunteer events at this location with young keiki.
Afternoon Shift: noon to 2 pm
If you'd like to sign up for the 10am-12pm morning shift, sign up via this opportunity link here.
Location: Y. Fuku Storage
99-1093 Iwaena St.
Aiea, HI 96701
Parking tends to be better on the weekends. Carpooling is still encouraged.
Please bring a water bottle and wear closed-toed shoes, as well as clothes you don't mind getting sweaty in as the warehouse does not have AC, but a large fan. Kids are welcome with parent/guardian supervision.
There are a lot of moving pieces with this assembly day, so check here for the latest updates.
