Food Rescue Drivers
What We Do
Food Rescue Driver pick up small amounts of excess food in their own cars and deliver it to one of our nearby partner agencies. Usually the food is being transported 15 minutes away or less. We usually put out the call for on-call food rescue help when there is food that needs to be picked up outside of our driver staff's normal hours of operation (which are 5:30am-2pm) or if our staff drivers are overloaded on a certain day.

You can "Unfan" any program at any time to stop receiving alerts.We will also specifically send on-call food rescue opportunities to volunteers based on the availability and area of island they indicated at registration.
