Kailua Farmers Market Food Rescue

Help us rescue food from the Kailua Farmers market!

Sundays from 11:40am-12:40pm. Need to have a vehicle to help transport food.

Oftentimes food vendors & farmers will have perfectly good leftover food at the end of the market that they won’t be able to sell at a later date. This program rescues that excess food and donates it to organizations that feed vulnerable populations. Volunteers will be in charge of sharing information about Aloha Harvest, checking in with regular donors, collecting, weighing, & tracking the food rescued that day, and dropping off the food at any of our Partner Agencies.
