Please join us for the third annual tilapia community harvest at Sunset Ranch on Wednesday, 7/2, from 10 am to 12 pm!

This is an opportunity for volunteers to help Aloha Harvest harvest tilapia from the Sunset Ranch aquaculture pond using large nets. We will not be using any hook-and-line fishing poles in the pond.
Please Note: Space and safety equipment is limited. Each volunteer is required to sign up individually to reserve their spot—no group registration.
Location:
Sunset Ranch Hawaii
59-777 Pūpūkea Rd, Haleiwa, HI 96712
Harvest Schedule:
10 AM – 12 PM Harvest Fish & Pack into Coolers
12 PM Load Coolers onto Aloha Harvest Truck (distribute to agencies same day)
Driving directions to the parking area:
Drive down Pūpūkea Rd and continue all the way to the end of the road. As you approach the end, you'll pass the main entrance of the ranch. Keep going until you reach the very end of the road, where you'll find a white fence on your right. Enter through this white fence and take a left. On your left side, you'll see a grassy field across from a barn. Please park in the grassy area.
Safety note: Tilapia have spines that can cut your hands, so we will harvest with gloves.
Due to safety concerns and available equipment, no kids under 12 years of age are permitted to assist with the harvest.
Note about equipment:
We have a limited amount of leather gardening gloves available for use. If you have your own leather gloves, please bring them to use at the harvest.
If you are bringing kids, please bring kid-sized gloves for them. Unfortunately, we only have adult M/L.
