We have had an increasing number of wedding planners, as well as other groups reach out to us wanting to donate their catered food to Aloha Harvest. If you are interested in assisting with on-call special event food rescue, please respond to this opportunity. Once we are contacted about a special event donation, Madelaine, the Volunteer Coordinator, will reach out to see, which volunteer(s) is able to fulfill the need. Donated food will be dropped off to a partner non-profit.
Example of a previous special event pick up: wedding was at Moli'i Gardens and the food was dropped off at RYSE in Kailua.
